Our congratulations to the Sodankylä Aviation Club!

We were excited to support Arctic Aviation Day – Fly-in EFSO Sodankylä 2025 in june 2025, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Sodankylä Aviation Club. This event will showcase aviation both as a hobby and a profession, while also highlighting the activities of key stakeholders within the Sodankylä economic region.

Recycling and donating

For the eighth consecutive year, we are donating the return proceeds from the bottles and cans brought by our customers from the fjelds to support the school trip activities of Kilpisjärvi School. A big thank you goes to our customers for this.

The company has brought waste from Kilpisjärvi area to the airport:

2021         9,600 liters
2022        11,400 liters
2023        13,600 liters
2024        12,600 liters
2025        16,800 liters

The waste has been both from the company’s own customers and from materials left by others in the area (from winter time). The transportation of the waste to the waste station has been funded by Heliflite Oy.

Let’s keep Lapland clean.
